Spiral Abyss 12-3 3 stars: video, gear and tips

Dear diary, today I want to share some details I consider useful for attempting to clear the hardest Spiral Abyss chamber.

Konagi-chan wants to warn that while these tips might apply to most travelers they should not be followed blindly, especially by travelers who never wishes or those who do so a bit too much.

The basics:
- Reaching Adventure Rank 50 - World Level 7 is recommended.
- Of course, you need a team you're confident with. The third chamber of the twelfth floor is tough.
- It is recommended to have well geared sub-dps and support characters.
- It might be necessary to cherry-pick good benediction buffs.
- As a metric, aim to clear the first half within 1 minute and 40 seconds or less (at least 8:20 remaining).
- It is recommended to have the strongest team take the second half as it spawns more enemies.
- Try to manage the enemy movements for better grouping. This will require a lot of practice.

General tricks:
- Certain heavy attacks or elemental reactions if timed correctly can delay or completely prevent the enemies from acquiring elemental shields.
- On the first half the Ice Cage enemy aura will trigger each ~12.5 seconds while the Fatui Cryogunner is alive. Pay attention to the clock and watch out for the Ice Cage on the times: 9:47, 9:34, 9:21, 9:09, 8:56, 8:44 and 8:30, once the Fatui Cryogunner dies the Ice Cage will no longer spawn.
- On the second half Stalactites will fall on areas marked with a circle on the floor, taking advantage of shields, skills or effects that increases interruption resistance along with also performing attacks with interruption resistance - such as charged attacks - will allow you to ignore them when it isn't possible to dodge in time.

Team tips:
- It is not necessary to have two Pyro dps characters, although they will make a big difference on the second half.
- It is recommended to have a Cryo character on the first half. While one can also be useful for the second half it is not strictly needed as you don't have to burst or CC two electro Fatui Skirmishers in a quick succession.
- Electro elemental reactions can slightly damage Cryo elemental shields which can be useful for AoE attacks.
- The electro-charged reaction can slightly stagger enemies, it also allows juggling enemies in the air with ranged elemental applications.
- The overloaded reaction, if timed correctly, can prevent enemies from acquiring elemental shields by interrupting their animations with the AoE explosion.

Character specific tips:
- Diona's Cryo charged aimed shots are useful for breaking already damaged Electro elemental shields.
- The Fatui Anemoboxer can pull Klee's mines. This allows a big Pyro AoE burst with some setup and baiting the Anemoboxer Vanguard to explode them near another enemy, greatly damaging both of them.

Here's a demonstration:

0:00 - First half
1:40 - Second half
3:14 - Characters, weapons and artifacts

The characters, weapons and artifacts section was added to allow travelers to compare progression and to help planning how to invest in each character.

This ends my travel diary entry for today.
I hope today's notes will be useful for future travelers.

Konagi-chan took about 3 hours to finally record a perfect attempt.
